In my opinion, nanomedicine, along with the rest of nanotechnology, should be a key part of the future. The benefits that the technology can get us are simply too great to be ignored, and that nanomedicine will be the single most important discovery in medicine since the discovery of antibiotics. Eventually, this might lead to a world where almost all diseases have been eradicated and what were once debilitating diseases might become common illnesses that can be easily cured. However, we cannot look over the problems facing it, and all applications of nanotechnology must be researched and thoroughly tested before the average citizen will be able to use them. Rules and guidelines must be laid out on how this technology should be used and preparations made so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
